Financial FAQ

How is Unbound Grace funded?

Unbound Grace is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit and all or our work is made possible by the gifts of private donors. Our modest budget has limited overhead. Your gifts translate directly into mission and ministry— we depend on you!

Why would someone want to support Unbound Grace?

  • If someone close to you has experienced addiction then you understand. Breaking the habit, lifestyle, dependency or pattern of abuse takes more than willpower. The struggle goes deep; all the way to the heart. Unbound Grace focuses on that deeper struggle and the journey to true hope and freedom.

  • It takes a relatively small amount of money to fund our work. In a very concrete sense, Unbound Grace is a good investment. We’ve been able to do a lot with a little, and have every intention of continuing to do so. The more funding, the more we can pursue.

  • We are devoted to sharing the hope in an increasingly addictive world. Unbound Grace is placed in a unique position to share faith, hope and love in the wilderness of addiction – which is very exciting!

But more important than all that, we believe the gospel is the word of life. It has certainly been such for many who have struggled with addiction. In a world obsessed with achievement and distraction, the message of God’s Unbound Grace needs to be heard.

If I give to Unbound Grace, where does my money go?

Donations go into our operating fund, which goes straight to ministry and mission. There are no development costs or administration. Other than our accountant (who personally supports the ministry), everything is done in house— even our offices are donated. If you were to break down our budget, about 35% goes toward programming and the rest toward salaries, which is standard for non-profit organizations. All gifts are fully tax-deductible.

What is the best way to support Unbound Grace financially?

Automatic monthly giving is the most helpful way you can support Unbound Grace. Like church pledges, it is income we can count on which makes the biggest difference. No amount is too small. You may sign up on our giving page. Any amount is an encouragement!

Of course, some prefer to give one-time gifts, which is wonderful too. You may give through your bank, debit card or credit card on our giving page. If you would prefer to do so by check, you can find our mailing address on the giving page linked above. Each and every donation is deeply appreciated.

Finally, Unbound Grace also partners with businesses, nonprofits and religious organizations. If you want to learn more about our partnership, please email us at admin@unboundgrace.life. We would be honored to come and share.
