What We Believe
What is truth?
Tim Keller once said, “Freedom is not the absence of restrictions but the presence of the right restrictions.” All humans long for a voice, a course, or bearing from which they can draw direction in life. Every person will wrestle with the question “What is truth?”. We believe the Bible to be the very Word of God, the only unerring rule of faith and practice.
All Are Welcome.
As an organization, our desire is to walk alongside everyone we meet in the pursuit of truth. We do not do this perfectly—but we do this faithfully.
We welcome all who seek hope, healing, and restoration, regardless of where they are on their journey. While we hold firmly to our foundation, we do so with humility, recognizing that true transformation happens in the context of grace, honesty, and relationship.
Our commitment is to inclusivity, not exclusivity. We invite you into a conversation, a community, and a path toward deeper understanding, always pointing toward the truth we believe is found in Christ.
The Apostles’ Creed: Christian, what do you believe?
Unbound Grace Ministries, our board members and those representing Unbound Grace affirm the Apostle’s Creed as a concise summary of their Christian beliefs. We participate in worship at varying traditions that all profess the infallibility of Scripture and the foundational truths highlighted in the Apostle’s Creed.
The Apostle’s Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day, he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
Amen.
